Dear Friend of FHGM,
There are children who should never have known fear yet found it anyway. There are mothers who should never have lost their husbands yet carry that weight alone. There are refugees who should never have fled their homes yet walk miles with nothing but hope. And there is God—whose love reaches them all, and whose work we are privileged to join.
Our passion is to glorify God by supporting pastors and missionaries who preach the gospel, plant churches, serve their communities, and care for widows, orphans, and refugees. Through this work, we are bringing souls into the Kingdom while meeting desperate needs along the way.
Our heartburning mission is the Children’s Home in Abim, a remote town in northeastern Uganda, two hours from the Kenyan border. Here, we have rescued more than 50 orphans—many clinging to life, some near death. Today, by God’s miraculous grace, they are safe. They are nourished. They attend school every day. They receive medical care. And they are learning, for the first time, what it means to be loved by the Father.
But our ministry doesn’t stop at our gates. FHGM has a nurse who directs our medical outreach, serving not only the children we’ve rescued but also refugees and families in the Metu Mountains near the Sudan border—regions so remote that most have never seen a doctor. Each month, he cares for more than 125 patients who would otherwise have no hope of healing.
We’ve also opened two sewing schools where widows and single mothers learn to earn income, stand on their own feet, and provide for their families. FHGM supports local missionaries in a refugee camp and in the Metu Mountains, and we partner with a ministry in Nairobi, Kenya, that rescues homeless young men, gives them jobs, and guides them into a life of faith in Jesus.
Every child we’ve rescued, every mother we’ve trained, every patient we’ve treated—they are all testimonies of what happens when someone like you says, “I will not turn away.”
